I present my work “Els colors del blanc”, and the book in which all the paintings are reproduced, written by the poet Santiago Montobbio. The exhibition comprises 33 paintings in which I have changed my style to a more narrative one, with which I attempt to represent the life of a human being through birth, love, sex, tenderness, aging, and death, using just one stage: a big white sheet, the creases of which tell the story of a whole existence; and with just one character: a woman whose face we never manage to see.

Sara Vaughan, the great singer, once said: “there are notes between notes, you know, that not everybody can hear”. In the same way, white is made up of all the other colours, and that is what I am trying to show here, symbolising the structures which make up a life.

This exhibition will also be presented in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, and in Manhattan, New York.
